Ecuador ratified the roster that will compete in the 2024 Copa América. Tonight the Football Federation announced that the 26 players will continue, including Kevin Rodríguez who has physical problems.
The Ecuadorian coach, Felix Sanchez Basdid not make any changes despite the fact that La Tri’s performance does not convince in friendly matches.
“Once again we present to you our 26 called up to the Conmebol Copa América. Let’s give everything in every game!“, published the team’s X account.
Since the announcement of the first call, there was disappointment among many fans because forwards were called up who are not marked or acting as starters.
There was much discussion, especially due to the presence of Jordy Caicedo and Kevin Rodriguez.
Caicedo had only played 33 minutes since March 21 in an Ecuador game.
Rodríguez, since January 28, has only played 57 minutes, but they already had minutes in the friendly matches against Argentina and Bolivia.

Ecuador vs. Honduras this Sunday
The Tricolor ends his tour of friendly matches this Sunday against Honduras. The game will be at 2:30 p.m. at Rentschler Field in East Hartford, Connecticut, with capacity for 40,000 spectators.
After match against Honduras It closes its preparation cycle and will thus be ready for its premiere on June 22 against Venezuela in the Copa América.
Ecuador lost to Argentina 0-1 and beat Bolivia 3-1, prior to the Copa América.
