It was reported that according to the information provided by the National Hydrometeorology Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, starting from January 10, the weather in the country will be windy and rainy, and sleet and snow are expected to fall intermittently.
The Chief State Traffic Police Department appeals to drivers to be careful about unstable weather conditions, to take into account the slippery nature of roads in rainy weather, to reduce the speed limit to a minimum, to keep the distance between them longer than the norm, to ensure that the car’s windshield wipers and lighting devices are in good condition, as well as the state license plate requests to control the cleanliness of their signs, not to park their cars near or under objects that are likely to topple or break off in windy weather, and to take preventive measures to prevent accidents that may occur, especially with the participation of trailers, awnings and long-sized trucks.
Taking into account the difficulties that adverse weather conditions can create, the administration called on pedestrians to be more responsible on the roads.
