Düzce Municipality Drinking Water Project Reached Tender Stage

While the works carried out by Düzce Municipality to provide the city with safe drinking water and the investments in drinking water resources by the State Hydraulic Works continue, the project for the renewal of the city network with the loan of the Iller Bank has also reached the tender stage.

While the construction of facilities on the Uğur and Bıçkı streams in Beyköy, which constitute the drinking water resources of the city, continues with the project carried out by the State Hydraulic Works to guarantee the 50-year water need of Düzce, the project to be carried out with the resources of the Iller Bank has also reached the tender stage.

Düzce Mayor Dr. to discuss the latest status of the project, which envisages the renewal of the drinking water network and the construction of a water tank with a capacity of 30 thousand square meters. A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Faruk Özlü, with the participation of Vice President Okan Kaltu, Beltaş General Manager Üzeyir Yiğit, Technical Works and Water Sewage Manager Fatih Yalçın and unit staff Taner Yörük and Aydın Otlu. At the meeting, consultations were held regarding the 45 million Euro investment, which has reached the tender stage, and plans were made for the process after the tender.

With the renewal of the network, losses and leaks that cause public damage will be prevented, network repair costs will be eliminated, and citizens will have access to safe drinking water. – DÜZCE
