The Healthcare Department, “Psychological and Moral Health Branch” at the General Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs in Dubai, has launched the “Wesal – Eap” program with the aim of providing psychological and moral support to employees of the administration and their family members.
The program also aims to educate employees on the importance of mental health and its maintenance, as well as create a positive and productive work environment, as well as achieve a balance between the psychological, mental and physical health of employees.
The program is implemented in collaboration between the Department of Mental and Moral Health of Dubai Residence and one of the specialized assistance centers, as it provides psychological assistance to employees of Dubai Residence and their first-degree family members who wish to participate in the sessions review according to the booking dates scheduled for them.
The Mental and Moral Health Sector also organizes guided tours and workshops, including the distribution of educational brochures on the importance of mental health and how to take care of it, as well as achieving a balance between the employee’s daily life and his working life. .
Interestingly, psychological assistance programs and sessions work to examine the cases of employees who sometimes feel some kind of anxiety or tension and face some difficulties in adapting to the work environment or who suffer from some kind of psychological pressure and the repercussions this may have on their work or family environment, requiring them to obtain psychological counseling and treatment and to provide support for themselves and their first-degree family members.
The administration has confirmed that these sessions are held in complete confidentiality and privacy, with the aim of helping them overcome the symptoms and repercussions they feel through psychological assessment and treatment sessions for themselves and their family members.
