Drummond participated Minexpo Colombia 2023

The mining company Drummond Ltd. participated in Minexpo Colombia 2023, the most important technology, innovation and entrepreneurship fair in the mining industry organized by the Colombian Mining Association (ACM).

For two days, more than 2,000 visitors learned about innovative and cutting-edge products and services, as well as a complete range of initiatives and ventures that have been promoted by the mining industry and are today recognized for their quality.

The event featured an academic agenda led by industry leaders and national and international experts who addressed topics on new trends in sustainability, technology and the future possibilities of mining.

The company’s stand was attended by some of the local suppliers that have been promoted through the purchase of goods and services such as Industrias Toronto, Aseres and Villa Loly. Likewise, suppliers such as Komatsu, Orica, Moraira, Laboratorio Nancy Flórez, SGS, Duramos, Kaltire, CHM Minería and Relianz CAT were present on the commercial stage.

“To thank Drummond for the invitation to Minexpo 2023, today Villa Loly is present at this fair as strategic allies showing the services we provide to the company,” said Milcíades Castañez, manager of Villa Loly Centro Ecoturismo SAS.

Likewise, there was space at the business conference, where new ventures related to the industry were heard and learned about, in order to energize the business fabric and open new opportunities to promote productive chains to boost the growth of the sector.

“For Drummond it is very important to be present at the first Minexpo innovation and technology fair. We want to promote the large number of local suppliers that we have helped to emerge, to serve the different mining projects in the country. We will continue to support them because we know that mining is development and progress,” said José Miguel Linares, president of Drummond Ltd.
