Drinking water supply is restored in four Torreón neighborhoods

Staff from the Municipal Water and Sanitation System (SIMAS) of Torreón completed the repair work on pump number 76, which is located next to the facilities of Ciudad Universitaria of the UA de C, so that since this morning the supply of drinking water was normalized in four neighborhoods that it serves.

Eduardo Terrazas Ramos, general manager of the water operating organization, reported that the work was carried out continuously from 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, concluding at 7:00 a.m. this Sunday, so the service was regularized in the sectors. of Joyas del Desierto, Villas del Sol, Jardines Universidad and Villas Universidad.

The official commented that the paramunicipal staff was present in the colonies in question, to serve the neighbors and coordinate the delivery of drinking water by pipesduring the time that the repair work lasted, a service that SIMAS Torreón provides at no cost.
