The Mexican currency registers a 0.39% loss compared to Friday’s reference price, in its fifth consecutive day of declines after reaching the 16.25unitsits best level since August 2015
“The advance of the dollar continues to be related to the expectation that the Federal Reserve will take longer to begin cutting the interest rate, after March retail sales in the United States exceeded market expectations,” said the firm Banco Base in an analysis note.
