Registrations to the system started on August 1 on the Edc-cr.cz portal. Registration is the first necessary step for customers interested in participating in electricity sharing. “This means that the system now allows active customers, or communities, to log in and start using the electricity produced by them at other transfer points across the territory of the Czech Republic,” Petr Kusý, head of the Electric Power Data Center (EDC), explained to Bleska. It is a company that was created for this very purpose, and where all information about production, consumption at the level of households and large companies, as well as electricity flows, will be concentrated.
