The whole world is becoming increasingly concerned about climate change, trying to find various ways to deal with it. Documentary ‘No Ark’ was made as part of it.
Through which will emerge, the response of various religious leaders and people of Bangladesh on climate change; What they think about it or not at all.
The script of the documentary is written and directed by Bratya Amin. He said, ‘I have tried to see what crisis different religious communities of Bangladesh are facing due to climate change. Besides, in this documentary, we have also tried to see how much religious people and religious leaders of the country are aware of climate change. What is said about it in various scriptures, what do environmentalists and intellectuals think about it and above all what role can religious leaders play in dealing with this global crisis of climate change.’
The inaugural screening of the 42-minute climate change documentary ‘No Ark’ is going to be held on May 4 at 5 pm in the main auditorium of the Liberation Museum. Produced by Rupgaon Picture Gallery and funded by WFDD, various religious leaders of Bangladesh (Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, Christian) as well as filmmakers, teachers and students will be present at the opening screening of this film, according to director Bratya. Amen.
