Diva Ary announces the release of a new album

Angolan singer Ary announced this Saturday, soon, the release of her latest album.
In an interview with Angop, the artist stated that the entire process of producing and editing the work had been completed.

“I have been preparing the new album. We are just looking at the best date for the launch”, stated the artist.

In another domain, the author of three albums and winner of several national and international awards, the artist also expresses some displeasure with the current phase of Angolan music, stating that it has already been at its best.

“Today it’s a bit disposable, but that’s life, it’s different generations”, he acknowledges.

Given the consequences caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, the artist defends the need for the Government to “open the doors” for Angolan musicians to return to work, even if under a tight rein given the restrictive measures imposed to contain the progression of the disease.

The singer, who began taking her first steps in music as a child, imitating songs by Angolan and American singers, such as Lauryn Hill, launched herself into musical professionalism after participating, in 2002, in the “Chuvas das Estrelas” competition.

The artists have on the market the albums “Sem Substituições”, 2007, “Crescida Mas Ao Meu Jeito”, 2013, and “Dez”, 2016.

Its gallery includes the Top dos Mais Queridos awards (2014 and 2016), Best Female Voice – Top Rádio Luanda (2014), Best Female Voice – Troféus Moda Luanda (2014), Best Voice of Lusofonia – MTV Base Africa Award (2014) , Best Folklore of the Year (2017) and Best Video Clip – Top Rádio Luanda (2017).
