Disturbing cloud formation captured prior to impact of Hurricane Beryl in Yucatan

Hurricane Beryl, which last night evolved into a category 5, the most critical of the Saffir-Simpson scale, continues to advance through the eastern Caribbean and heads towards the coasts of Mexico with winds already exceeding 250 kilometers per hour.

The cyclone has Civil Protection authorities and meteorologists on alert due to the impact it could have once it makes landfall on the Yucatan Peninsula.where it is expected to be downgraded to Category 1 or 2 later this week.

According to forecasts, Beryl would enter Mexico south of Tulum, in Quintana Roo, and then enter Yucatan through Ichmul.a state where it would cover 19 municipalities, according to the real-time forecast of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) from the United States.

In Yucatan, residents and visitors of Ticum, Yucatan, were surprised by the formation of unusual clouds. Some were in awe while others were terrified, just before Hurricane Beryl made landfall.

In a video circulating on social media, a huge formation of gray clouds can be seen that seems to be falling from the sky and approaching Increasingly, however, it is being suspended.

The clouds that accompany a hurricane are an impressive and often disturbing sight. These formations can vary from tall and thin to dense and menacing clouds, reflecting the intensity and strength of the approaching weather phenomenon.

According to the publication, this cloud formation is part of the cyclone that is increasingly approaching the Mexican coast.and although this phenomenon caused some fear and concern among the inhabitants of Ticum, many agreed that nature is wonderful and terrifying at the same time.

Beryl, which is moving as a Category 5 hurricane, is expected to weaken and make landfall as a Category 1 hurricane in Mexico.specifically on the coast of Quintana Roo, between Thursday night and Friday morning.
