What will happen to the Star+ site and previous subscriptions?

  • According to the Help Center, starting July 24, 2024, the Star+ website and app will no longer be available.
  • If you had Disney+, Star+ or Combo+ before June 26, 2024, you will have access to the Disney+ Premium plan, which includes content from Star and ESPN.
  • If this is your first time on Disney+, you can access your subscription with the same login details you used on Star+ and set up your main profile.
  • Disney+ plan may vary if billing is through a third party.
  • Will my Star+ list be added to My Disney+ List? Actions taken in one application will not be reflected in the other. This means that if you already had Star+ or Combo+ and access a Disney+ subscription that includes Star, content saved to My Star+ List or your current viewing history will not appear on Disney+. This also applies to other features, such as your Star+ profiles and settings. Changes you make in Star+ will not be reflected in the Disney+ app or website.
  • If you have never used Disney+, please note that you will have access to Star+ until July 24, 2024. This way, you will be able to configure your profiles, settings, and a new version of My List on Disney+ using your Star+ account as a reference.
  • Parental Controls: Disney+ parental controls apply to Star and ESPN content. With the arrival of live channels and sporting events on Disney+, the Live and Unrated option can now also be disabled so that profiles do not see that type of content.
  • It’s important to remember that profile age rating settings on Disney+ may block certain content. If you don’t see any Star or ESPN titles on your Disney+ profile, you may need to change the age rating.
