Branch Manager Mehmet Yurt stated that the regulations made by the Ministry, especially regarding animals supplied from imported and free enterprises, have made a significant contribution to increasing the number of disease-free enterprises, and that they aim to increase the number of disease-free enterprises from 12 to at least 20 enterprises in 2024 with the additional support to be given. He also said that with the change made in the 2023 Heifer Purchase Support application, which provides 50 percent grant support for animals procured from imported enterprises, the breeders whose names are on the reserve list have been included and the period for all breeders who apply to procure animals with the desired characteristics has been extended until July 31, 2024.
