Discovering that the phone had the SIM card removed, many belongings were cleaned up

When the girl’s body was discovered dry in the apartment, the authorities saw that the phone had its sim card removed and many furniture and clothes had been cleaned up.

On the afternoon of April 28, a representative of the People’s Committee of Tay Mo ward (Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi) said that the victim’s family had come to receive the body to carry out post-mortem procedures.

According to this person, when the girl’s body was discovered, there was a phone in the apartment but the sim card was removed, and many furniture and clothes had been cleaned. The investigation agency continues to clarify factors related to the above case.

The representative of the People’s Committee of Tay Mo ward added that the incident started with a search report from the girl’s relatives. After that, local authorities coordinated with Hanoi Police to search.

The apartment complex discovered a woman’s body.

Through review, the police suspected the girl was related to the apartment in Nam Tu Liem district. On April 26, the authorities worked with the management board to search the apartment and discovered the incident.

The above apartment will be temporarily suspended from providing electricity, water and related services from the end of 2022 because there is no one to pay these costs.

Explaining the reason why the apartment complex’s security forces did not search immediately at that time, the leader of Tay Mo Ward People’s Committee said that the apartment complex has tens of thousands of apartments. Many of these homes are not lived in by the owners and are not rented out. Therefore, it is not too unusual to have an apartment with no passersby or late payment of service fees.

“Unless there is a crime report or a request from the authorities, security forces or apartment management boards are not allowed to arbitrarily enter people’s private homes,” the ward official said.

Previously, Nam Tu Liem District Police said that the unit was investigating the case of a girl’s body discovered in an apartment building in Tay Mo ward.

According to local authorities, the girl’s body was determined to have died more than a year ago. The apartment system is closed so it is difficult to detect. The body has now dried up. The identity of this person has not yet been provided.
