Dinara Zakieva urged to show sensitivity and responsibility towards children

On International Children’s Day, the Commissioner for Children’s Rights in Kazakhstan, Dinara Zakieva, addressed parents and young Kazakhstanis, Liter.kz reports..

“We are proud of you – our smart, talented, promising children! I am sure that you will become worthy citizens of our country. From the bottom of my heart I wish you interesting and educational discoveries, happiness, health and prosperity! ” – Zakieva congratulated the children.

She noted that in Kazakhstan this holiday symbolizes our desire to ensure the happiness of children.

“But we must also all realize that protecting children, ensuring their rights and creating favorable living conditions are priorities for every member of society! The safety and well-being of children is our common goal. The life and safety of every child depends on adults, and above all on his parents. As parents, we must always remember our primary responsibility for the fate of our children,” added the Commissioner for Children’s Rights.

According to her, statistics show that children often remain at risk. Every day, three children die as a result of falling from open windows, poisoning, injuries, or road accidents.

“Most violent tragedies could have been prevented with a quick response. In 70% of cases, others simply did not react in time. Therefore, today, on Children’s Day, I urge everyone, dear parents, adults, to show sensitivity and responsibility, become a child’s protector, help him in a difficult life situation, support and prevent violence and cruelty against children!” – concluded Zakieva.
