Congress, through its official X account, reported that last Saturday the substitute text for the opinion of Bill 7752 was approved in the first vote.

He Minister of Economy, José Aristaannounced that the President Dina Boluarte will request an extraordinary session of the Congress to hold the second vote on granting legislative powers to the Executive.

During an interview, Arista explained that the order will be formalized by the president of the Council of Ministers, Gustavo Adrianzentoday, June 18, before the head of Parliament, Alejandro Soto.

Arista pointed out that the Constitution allows the head of state to call Congress for an extraordinary session with a single item on the agenda, in this case, the second vote on the powers delegated to the Executive.
