Total fine 742,000 eurosto the company frozen vegetablesn “AINOS SA”, imposed by Interagency Market Control Unit (DIMEA).
According to the Ministry of Development, the fine concerns a violation of Article 54 of Law 5045/29-07-2023 regarding the reduction of unfair profiteering phenomenaafter the checks carried out by (DIMEA).
In particular, after conducting close checks on 72 product codes (1/7/2023 to 30/9/2023), it was found that the company in 50 codes it was getting a higher gross profit margin from what is defined by the relevant legislation.
