Deputy Ieva Brante has turned marriage into port

Brante’s lover is dance teacher and also mathematics lecturer Māris Gunārs Dzenis, who is more than ten years younger than her.

Brante has shared heartfelt photos on social networks, announcing the beautiful event in her life.

The proposal was announced last November – on the anniversary of the two’s life together.

Brante previously commented on the age difference between the two: “Age really doesn’t matter. What matters is maturity, intelligence, experience. Age has nothing to do with it! I know so many older people who still can’t make decisions separately from their mom, figure out what they’re going to wear , will eat those who don’t know how to take care of themselves. And I know young, active, interesting men who are ready to take responsibility, take care, do.”

As you know, Brante already has two marriages behind her. She started living together with her first husband at a very young age – she was only 16 at the time. A year later, daughter Sandra Santa applied. But after nine years, the marriage broke up. The second time Ieva went to the altar in 2007 and in interviews she said that she had asked the universe for her husband Aivara. However, a couple of years ago, the lawyer announced that the two had parted ways. She cited the different pace of life and incompatibility as the reason.

“Neither Maris nor I had thought or planned anything. We just danced,” says Brante. She emphasizes that the two danced very quickly and easily.
