Reassessing the situation and due to the high temperatures that are expected to be recorded tomorrow and the day after tomorrow in Athens, all Infant, Nursery and Kindergartens (Municipal and Private) located within the administrative boundaries of the Municipality of Athens, will not operate on Wednesday 12/6 and on Thursday 13/6.
At the same time, it was also decided to suspend the educational operation of all Primary Education units – i.e. all Primary Schools – within the Municipality of Athens, for the next two days, Wednesday and Thursday 12-13/06, in view of the impending heat wave.
As for Primary Schools, whether they will open on Friday June 14 – the day when the last bell will ring for the 2023-2024 school year – the situation will be reassessed the day before depending on the risk report.
