Deep clean-up work is underway in Ñeembucú, although areas remain under water

EXPOSURE. In several places in the Department of Ñeembucú, cleaning tasks are being carried out in order to restore the access roads that were flooded by the intense rains, although there are areas that are still under water.

Cleaning is carried out with an amphibious backhoe to remove sediments and facilitate water runoff. The tasks are carried out with the joint support of public and private institutions, the central Government and the Government.

The Cauce Montuoso, with the backhoe of the Engineering Command of the Paraguayan Army, continues with ditching tasks, next to route PY-19, to divert water from the natural channel and avoid flooding.

At the Medina Company (Puente Lázaro), the ARP backhoe No. 2 is cleaning ditches, pipe lines and bridges to improve the state of the road infrastructure in the area.

In Villalbin, the backhoe with a shovel collaborates with the producers in the area in the transportation of feed and supplies, in addition to providing support in cleaning the area.

In Cauce Paso Pucú (Post Torres Norte Zone, Puente Señorita), the amphibious backhoe of the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) is working in the area to remove sediments and unclog the water channel.

On the roads of General Díaz, Government trucks, together with MOPC machinery, intensify the cleaning tasks on the roads in the area; while in the La Eliza de Pilar neighborhood and around the roundabout, cleaning and drainage work continues with Government machinery to improve road conditions in the sector.
