The annual report of the body that carries out administrative control over the activities of municipalities is discussed in the Milli Majlis.
“Report” informs that the report was included in the agenda of today’s meeting of the regional affairs committee of the parliament.
The document is presented by Deputy Minister of Justice Vilayat Zahirov.
It was noted that last year the issues of increasing the efficiency of the municipalities’ activities were always in the center of attention, and the amount of financial support provided by allocating subsidies and subsidies to municipalities from the state budget was increased and exceeded 7 million manats for the first time. In this year’s state budget of Azerbaijan, more than 8 million manats are allocated for this purpose.
Also, the legislation regulating the activities of municipalities has been improved, and in order to ensure the rights of citizens, based on the tasks of the head of state on the formalization of undocumented buildings, as well as activities related to the implementation of large projects in the field of the use of renewable energy sources, it is provided for the allocation of municipal lands directly by municipal decision without holding an auction or competition. the range of exceptional cases has been expanded.
