On Friday (March 15) afternoon, Sagar was injured in a clash in the Korbanpur shelter project area of the same union. He died on Saturday (March 16) evening while undergoing treatment at Feni General Hospital.
According to the police and local sources, on Friday afternoon, the young man named Sagar was smoking in front of the shelter project of Korbanpur village of Sindurpur union of the upazila. At that time, a local person named Nurul Haque asked him (Sagar) where his house was. Why are you smoking cigarettes from so far away? Sagar said that his aunt lived in the shelter area at that time.
There is an argument between both of them. More local people gathered for Nurul Haque. A scuffle and a fight ensued. Sujan was injured. He was admitted to Feni General Hospital on Friday evening. He died while undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Daganbhuana police station officer-in-charge (OC) Muhammad Abul Hasim said that the young man fell ill in the fight and was admitted to the hospital. He died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. The body is at the hospital morgue for post-mortem. If there is a case, necessary legal measures will be taken after investigation.
