Félix Ranaivoarison, who passed away on the morning of August 9, is a reference in the world of “hiragasy” or field opera. He was always in the shadow of his father Ramilison Besigara, a monument of this discipline. When the latter died, he took up the torch under the troupe name of “Ramilison Besigara Zanany”. The man behind the scenes then took center stage, but not so much since he was the one who managed the company, like the “boss”. His remains were kept in vigil for two nights at his home in Antohomadinika Atsimo. The last farewells from his family, loved ones and the art world will be said today at 9 a.m. at the Catholic Church of Sainte-Thérèse de l’enfant Jésus in Isotry.
