David Koller sings for the last time with Lucia at Hrady CZ in Bezděz

The nineteenth year of the touring music and cultural festival Hrady CZ through Točník, Kunětická hora, Švihov, Rožmberk nad Vltavou, Veveří, Hradec nad Moravicí and Bouzov will end its summer tour this year on Friday and Saturday, August 30 and 31 at Bezděz in Liberecko. On Friday, singer Daniel Landa will perform exclusively and for the very first time at Bezděz. On Saturday, festival visitors will experience the last ever concert of the band Lucie in the original line-up with David Koller, the singer is leaving the group after a summer stint with Hrady CZ. Only at Castles this summer, fans can also see the group Chinaski on Saturdays. The price of the Saturday ticket to the festival includes free entry to Bezděz Castle, which celebrates 760 years since its foundation this year.

On Friday, the area outside the village of Bezděz will open at half past four in the afternoon and the bands Mig 21, Horkýže Slíže, Trautenberk, Mother’s Angels and Jamaron will also play. At half past seven, the traditional castle carnival will begin. All masks present will be announced by the moderator directly on stage and will receive a gift. The three best in each castle will then receive a special reward, they will advance to the grand final in November, where the main prize for the absolute winner will be, among other valuable prizes, free tickets to the next edition of the festival.

On Saturday, the area will open at ten in the morning and the fans will be further excited by Vypsaná fixa, UDG, Hanging Castle and, for the first time this year, the Fast Food Orchestra. CZ Castles also give space to young talents and new musical discoveries, so on Saturday the indie-pop band Brixtn, singer and producer Marcell, Fiedlerski or Šumper ensemble Byt No. 4 will play here. This year, the CZ Castles Festival also cooperates with the National Monuments Institute and its visitors offers free entry to the sightseeing tours of Bezděz Castle in the price of the Saturday festival ticket.
