The Czech biathlon team recently moved from the USA to Canada, where the last race of this World Cup season will be held this weekend. The trip to the world’s second largest country, however, was probably imagined differently by the female representatives. Because of the mistakes of the organizers, they cannot train!
Czech biathletes ended the World Cup in the USA with Sunday’s pursuit race. However, the medals escaped our representatives and now they have the last chance to win them. However, the organizers in the Canadian city of Canmore are not making it very easy for them.
“Makula, are we going to practice yet?” Jessica Jislová asked her colleague ironically. “We’re not going, the containers with the equipment haven’t arrived and we’re still burning here,” answered Markéta Davidová, reacting to the fact that the Czech competitors arrived without their equipment and that the fire alarm was ringing in the service cells.
However, this is not the only problem that the Czech representatives have to deal with. In Canada, even the bus service, which is supposed to provide competitors with a way to training and then back to the hotel, does not work well.
„Yes, we left for training six hours ago and we’re still not home,” wrote Davidová to the video, in which she and Jislová laugh bitterly at this comical situation. Jessica even expressed her opinion with a raised middle finger.
However, the one who most likely avoided these problems is our men’s team. Michal Krčmář shared photos on his Instagram where he is carefree enjoying the NHL match between the Calgary Flames and Colorado Avalanche teams. He was accompanied by his teammates from the national team, Jonáš Mareček and Jakub Štvrtecký.
