The controversy for the house of 12 million pesos acquired by the Morenista senator Gerardo Fernández Noroña in Tepoztlán climbed yesterday after the local PAN deputy in Morelos, Daniel Martínez Terrazas, accused that the National Guard (GN) protects the property in the face of the demands of the commoners who question the legality of the purchase.
Martínez Terrazas said that the property lacks the authorization of communal goods and that the payment of property taxes has not even covered.
“What we regret is that a property tax has not even been paid, authorization has not even been requested from communal assets and all the people of the countryside in Tepoztlán,” he told local media.
The PAN legislator denounced that elements of the GN and Federal Security arrested settlers who tried to enter the area where the residence is located, a situation that he described as an abuse of power.
“Instead of taking care of our streets, they are defending privileges of a senator of the Republic that all he has done is a porril attitude,” he added.
Martínez Terrazas recalled that Noroña himself criticized at the time the “White House” of former President Enrique Peña Nieto and demanded that the value of that residence for student scholars in Morelos be returned.
On the alleged incursion of dissatisfied to the property of the senator, It was indicated that the GN recorded an emergency call to the attempt of community members to enter the property.
Another version is that the Federal Corporation had prior information that the ejidatarios enlisted a protest in that site and arrived “prompt” to make a guard in the residence.
