Crippled father Md. expressed his desire to make his son’s job permanent in Lakshmipur. Arshad Hossain. On Sunday (March 17) from 10 am, he stood in front of Lakshmipur Press Club for about two hours. His son Habibur Rahman is on contractual employment as a cleaner in District Sadar Hospital.
Arshad is a resident of Haji Bari of Hotatia village of Noagaon Union of Ramganj Upazila.
Arshad Hossain said, there are three sons and daughters in the family. He lives by begging. Habibur Rahman’s eldest son got a contractual job during the Corona period. A lot of expenses in the family. It is difficult to run a family with the amount of money that is paid. If the son’s job is permanent, he no longer has to beg.
He said, I do not beg in the area. Go to Chatkhil area of Noakhali and beg. Thanks to Prime Minister I get disability allowance. Requesting the Prime Minister to make my son’s job permanent. If my son’s job is permanent, there will be no sorrow in my family.
Habibur Rahman said, on November 13, 2022, I got a contractual appointment as a cleaner. The contract expires in June. If the job goes away, I will be helpless. I request to the concerned that my job be made permanent.
Sadar Hospital Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Anwar Hossain said that Habibur Rahman has been appointed on contractual basis from the ministry. He is working accordingly. The ministry knows whether his job will be made permanent or not.
In this regard, the district civil surgeon Dr. Ahmed Kabir said, through tender, an organization is given the responsibility of contractual recruitment for class IV employees. You can work for a fixed period according to the contract. Besides, there is no opportunity to make this job permanent.
