In the last 24 hours, eight new positive cases of infection with the new coronavirus (covid-19) were registered across the country, bringing 69 positive cases in total and one more death.
The information was provided by the Minister of Health, Sílvia Lutucuta, during the usual press conference, where the epidemiological situation of the disease in the country was presented, which also pointed out that these are cases of local contagion.
These are citizens who had contact with “Cases 26 and 50” previously registered cases. This was the highest number of cases recorded in the country in just 24 hours.
With the registration of these new cases, the country now has 69 positive cases in total, of which 41 cases of local transmission, it now has 47 active cases, 18 recovered and four deaths.
