In the last 24 hours, the country registered 39 new cases of Covid-19 infection, rising to 841 in total. 10 recoveries were also recorded.
The information was provided by Franco Mufinda, Secretary of State for Public Health, during the epidemiological situation of Covid-19 in the country.
These are Angolan citizens, aged between 1 and 73 years old, 25 are male and 14 are female. All cases were registered in Luanda.
Of the active cases, 15 require special attention and are receiving invasive mechanical ventilation.
The country now has 851 positive cases, 582 active cases, 236 recovered and 33 deaths.
