In the last 24 hours, the country registered a new daily record of covid-19 cases, with the registration of 78 new infections, now reaching 1078 confirmed cases. One death and 35 recoveries were also recorded.
Informed the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, during the epidemiological situation of covid-19 in the country.
These are Angolan citizens, aged between 3 months and 74 years old, 50 are male and 28 female. All cases were registered in Luanda
Of the active cases, 22 require special attention and five are receiving invasive mechanical ventilation.
As for the death, it was a 30-year-old Angolan citizen, who was admitted to the Military Hospital.
The country now has a total of 1078 positive cases, 729 active cases, 301 recovered and 49 deaths.
