Two new cases of infection with the new coronavirus (covid-19) were registered in the country in the last 24 hours, bringing the count to fifty (50) positive cases in the country and one new death.
The information was provided by the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, during the usual press conference, to update data relating to the disease in the country.
They are a 25-year-old citizen, a nurse highlighted in the treatment of Covid-19 in the country and an 82-year-old male resident of Maianga whose death was declared and could be considered the first case of community contagion.
With the registration of these new cases, the country now has 50 positive cases in total, of which 21 cases of local transmission, it now has 30 active cases, 17 recovered and three deaths.
