Covid-19: Angola records first case of local contagion

This Monday, the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, announced at a press conference, the first positive case of local contagion of Covid-19 in the country.

She is a 16-year-old girl, daughter of a patient who arrived in the country on a flight from Lisbon, on March 17th.

At the press conference, held regularly since the first cases of the disease were presented in the country, the secretary of state also revealed that the test result was detected today by the health authorities.

This is the first case of local contamination of covid-19 in Angola, announced more than a month after the first two cases of the disease were reported in the country.
