The Additional District and Sessions Judge South has ordered the police to register a case under Section 154 of the alleged murder of model and actress Humira Asghar.

Disposing of the petition on Monday, the court directed the police to record the statements of Humira’s family and take legal action.

The body of actress and model Humira Asghar was found on July 8, 2025 from a flat in Etihad Commercial area of Karachi when the landlord broke the door of the flat along with a court bailiff for non-payment of rent.

According to the post-mortem report, the body was in the final stage of decomposition, indicating that the death took place around eight months ago.
According to the investigation, actress Humira Asghar’s phone was in use till October 2024, but the WhatsApp profile picture was deleted after the make-up artist contacted, making the matter more suspicious.
