In the last 24 hours, Angola had an incomplete assessment of data relating to the disease in the country, after daily laboratory reports were not sent to Luanda.

This information was provided by the Secretary of State for Public Health, Franco Mufinda, during the epidemiological situation of covid-19 in the country.

According to Franco Mufinda, reports on laboratory activities were supposed to reach the health services by 3 pm today, which did not happen and meant that only the data collected in Luanda was updated.

This time, only 16 positive cases of covid-19 were recorded, all from Luanda, as well as one death and none recovered in the last 24 hours.

The country now has 15,103 confirmed cases, 7,763 recovered cases, 346 deaths and 6,994 active cases.
