Councilor Cristián José Moreno underwent surgery

At the High Complexity clinic in Valledupar, doctors are doing everything possible so that the councilor of Valledupar, Cristián José Moreno Villamizar, also a former candidate for Mayor and former congressman, recovers his health, after being seriously injured in a traffic accident in the early hours of this Saturday in the Doce de Octubre neighborhood of this capital.

His relatives and different political leaders from Cesar and Valledupar are present outside the clinic, knowing as a doctor that they induced him into a coma to reduce inflammation of the brain. He will be in this treatment for three days to see his evolution.

It should be noted that Moreno Villamizar, the night before, had arrived from Riohacha, and made a stop at a house on the outskirts of the city where the birthday of accordion player Neno Beleño was being celebrated. There he was chatting for a couple of hours and then he would travel to his home with the driver aboard his truck, a Toyata Hi-Lux, double cabin.

However, in the aforementioned neighborhood they collided with a tree. The car was completely destroyed in the front part, the greatest impact of which was on the passenger side where the councilor was sitting.

It was also learned that the driver suffered minor injuries to his face and is out of danger.

Both his family and close friends are in a prayer chain for his improvement.
