Contra Flow, Odd-Even and One Way Homecoming Schedule for Eid 2024

JAKARTA – The government will enforce traffic regulations on the toll road toll road through contra flow, odd-even and one-way schemes during Eid homecoming and return flow 2024. This traffic engineering is valid from 5-16 April 2024.

This policy is outlined in a Joint Decree (SKB) between the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub), Korlantas Polri and the Ministry of PUPR regarding Road Traffic and Crossing Regulations during the Homecoming and Returning Eid Transport Flows in 2024/1445 H.

“I thank the media for the SKB which has been published in all media, I hope that people will read and follow the SKB,” said the Directorate General of Land Transportation, Hendro Sugiatno, during a press conference, Sunday (17/3/2024).

Hendro confirmed that contra flow, odd-even and oneway will be implemented from April 5-16. As for the details:

For one way starting from kilometer (Km) 72 to Km 414 or the Kalikangkung toll gate. Implementation time April 5-7 2024, 14.00 – 24.00 WIB. Then, April 8-9 2024, 08.00-24.00 WIB.

Contra flow is applied from Km 36 to Km 72. The time is 5-11 April 2024, from 14.00 to 24.00 WIB. Meanwhile, odd-even from Km 0 – Km 414. Time, April 5-7 2024, 14.00 – 24.00 WIB. Then, April 8-9, 08.00 to 24.00 WIB.

“This odd-even can be applied and depends on the situation. Return flow is also the same as homecoming flow, for oneway Km 414 to Km 72. And contraflow from Km 72 to Km 36, and odd-even Km 414-Km 0,” he explained.

“All of this is situational depending on the management of the traffic police on toll roads. So we leave everything to the traffic police for this management,” continued Hendro.
