Recently, the conflict between the military forces and the Arakan Army in neighboring Rakhine state of Bangladesh has intensified.

The Rohingya community is not considered citizens of Myanmar by the military and the majority Buddhist population. In 2017, the Myanmar army launched a deadly attack on the Rohingya. Then about 8 lakh Rohingya fled to Bangladesh.

The case against the Rohingya genocide is ongoing in the International Court of Justice.

The 600,000 Rohingya remaining in Rakhine are being tortured as the conflict between the Junta forces and the Arakan Army erupts, the BROUK said in its new report.

It has been said that the Rohingyas are slowly being pushed to death by the army. Rohingyas are being deprived of food, water, medicine and even safe shelter. Moreover, Rohingyas are being compulsorily recruited and sent to fight against the Arakan Army.

BROC also stated in their report that both the military and the Arakan Army are committing crimes against humanity against the Rohingya.
