LEÓN, Gto. (apro).- Naomi, Aracely, Nayeli, Ana Cristina and two minors are the victims of the multiple homicide in the Ciudad Industrial neighborhood in the municipality of León. The two minors and the four women were murdered by armed men who entered the home just a few minutes after elements of the National Guard entered the property and took the deceased’s belongings.
On Sunday night, around 10:00 p.m., at least five men in National Guard uniforms entered the neighborhood located on Pénjamo Street, did a search and came out with a black bag, according to the testimony of two survivors and a video that circulates on social networks.
Just a few minutes after the National Guard elements entered, armed men broke into the same home and shot everyone present. Two men survived and took shelter on the roof of the building.
According to the governor, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, the two survivors of the attack reported that the federal forces entered the home and took a bag with belongings, without being sure what they stole and whether or not they had a warrant. search
In an interview, after the massacre on Sunday night in Ciudad Industrial, Diego Sinuhe Rodríguez assured that he commissioned the Secretary of Government, Jesús Oviedo Herrera, to meet with the commanders of the National Guard and explain why they entered the home. in which only moments later six people were murdered.
“I also ask the Prosecutor’s Office to investigate the actions of the Guard elements in this very unfortunate event. It cannot be that they are entering homes without a search warrant, if that were the case; second, we must review what relationship they have with what that happens minutes after they leave with the issue of multiple homicides,” declared Diego Sinhue Rodríguez during his visit to the same neighborhood where the massacre occurred hours before.
The governor was at the inauguration of the Family Oral Courts of the State Judicial Branch, which are located in the Ciudad Industrial neighborhood, in León.
Rodríguez Vallejo also called on “the senior officers of the National Guard in the state” to review the actions of the elements, because, he said, this is not the first time that abuses of authority by federal forces have been recorded in Guanajuato.
“This is a very delicate, very serious issue, because it undermines the trust of the citizens of a newly created institution that was supposedly coming to replace a corrupt federal police and it seems that we went from Guatemala to Guatemala worse. It must be reviewed promptly.”
He pointed out that prior to Sunday’s multiple homicide, he had a meeting with federal authorities because elements of the National Guard entered without permission the parking lot of a private school owned by the trustee of León, PAN member Leticia Villegas Nava.
“It was not made into the media because it is not about making it into the media, but it is about saying that this situation is happening, there are several events that are arising,” he said.
According to Diego Sinhue Rodríguez, the State Attorney General’s Office has identified those responsible for the multiple homicide on Sunday night, although the institution has not provided information in this regard.
