Ricardo Margaleff has become an all-rounder. Right now he has several projects in the pipeline and others that are already on their way, such as the third season of, Do you believe?
On June 9, Ricardo and Daniela Luján, who became “Plutarco” and “Gaby”, premiered the new installment of this concept that was generated from A Family of Ten, a kind of “Multiverse”, as Ricardo himself calls it.
The actor spoke exclusively with El Siglo de Torreón about his emotion for ¿Tú crees?, and the way in which he considers that the way of doing comedy has changed.
“We are very happy, excited by the reception that people have given us with this season. Thanks to the people who are supporting us,” he said.
The interviewee commented that on this occasion “Plutarco” and “Gaby” will find themselves immersed in a series of fun complications, because now they will have to sell items typical of a department store such as clothing, makeup, speakers, toys and white goods, after Almacenes Patito was bought.
“We are also going to see ‘Plutarco’ and ‘Gaby’ trying to convince the new executives so that the employees of the old warehouse keep their jobs. Everyone will have to demonstrate their skills in sales and customer service. It is going to be very good what the public will see and has already begun to witness.
Quite enthusiastic, Margaleff expressed that being in A Family of Ten, he never imagined that a “spin-off” of said project led by Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo could come out.
“It has truly been a great experience that we are living. Likewise, when we started, Do You Think?, we had no idea what would happen and today we are here presenting the third season to you,” he shared proudly.
The actor mentioned that the program has new special guests who will delight children and adults.
“We are going to have Gala Montes, Carlos Speitzer, Bárbara Islas, Carlos Said, Claudia Troyo, Lupita Sandoval, Raquel Garza and Yulianna Peniche. Iconic characters from other seasons will also be added, such as Euthanasia, Zacarías’ mother, played by the first actress Susana Alexander, El Señor Calvillo, played by Juan Carlos Casasola and Marianela, played by Gaby Platas, we won’t stop for guests,” she said by phone.
On the other hand, Ricardo mentioned that comedy has changed and recommended that the artists who do it adapt to the new demands of the audience, without falling into vulgarity or delicate topics.
“It is increasingly difficult to talk about certain topics without making people angry, which is respectable because the public has the right to not like some topics,” he said.
Unfortunately, as he commented, comedy has been nourished by mocking the misfortune of others. He also said that it is no longer advisable to touch on religious or political issues.
“What has been making us laugh can be anything from someone else’s fall to another person’s failure in some area that goes viral on networks, and that is the visceral feeling of the human being.”
