In an interview for Grupo Imagen, the deputy of the Citizen Movement in Colima, Jesús “Chuy” Dueñas García, who on several occasions has denounced the failures within the state health sector, assured that the only merit that Torrero Enríquez has is being a friend of Vizcaíno Silva .

He added that the first thing this official did upon entering his first day in the Colima Administration was to increase the salary of the state leader herself and her circle of friends.

“He authorized a raise for top-level officials, especially those closest to the governor, the governor of the state herself, a raise in salaries. That was practically reaching the administration.”

The lack of experience in health matters of the new head is not important for the governor of Colima, the important thing is to obtain resources from the treasury without leaving a trace and to cover the millionaire embezzlements that occur in various areas of hospitals and health centers in the state.

Dueñas García assured that the now head of Health of Colima was within the Chamber of Deputies accompanying and advising Indira Vizcaíno Silva when she was a federal legislator.

He reiterated that the task that Víctor Manuel Torrero Enríquez has is to “cover the embezzlements that occur in Health with expenses that have not been verified even though the money was spent and there is no punishment for those involved.

He added that in Colima the Ministry of Health has always been the petty cash of the governments and this is no exception, therefore, a career public accountant was appointed to be able to have good resources without verification.
