Frost and slippery conditions will spread further across the north-eastern half of the Netherlands this evening and code yellow will also apply from midnight in North Holland, Flevoland and Gelderland. This may affect traffic.
In the southwestern part of the country, road surface temperatures remain above freezing, according to the KNMI. By the end of Sunday morning the road surface temperature will rise above freezing again and the risk of slippery conditions will disappear.
Especially in some parts of the province of Limburg (wet) snow falls on Sunday morning, while elsewhere it is dry. In the morning the sun breaks out from the north in more and more places and later the weather will also dry out in Limburg.
The sun breaks through more often
