Conade National Games 2024.
The delegation from the state of Coahuila in the archery discipline began its participation in the Conade 2024 National Games with an overwhelming pace, with a harvest of 14 medals in the qualification phase in the men’s branch, a balance of five golds, seven silver and two bronze
Juan Pablo Téllez Aguirre won three medals in the recurve bow modality, Under 21 category, after winning silver in his first distance with 330; gold in the second with 328; and silver in total with 658; Raúl Tadeo Rodríguez obtained bronze in the second distance with 328. In the Sub 24 recurve, Jesús del Ángel Flores Alanís won three silver medals, in the first distance with 323; in second distance with 323; and in total with 646 units.
In the Under 18 compound bow, Rafael Muñoz had a brilliant performance after winning bronze in the first distance with 344; gold in second with 347; and gold in total with 691. Sebastián García Flores stood out with three more medals for Coahuila in the Sub 24 compound, adding gold in the first distance with 355; silver in second with 349; and silver in total with 704. Gadiel González Rocha closed the medal harvest on the first day of activities after adding gold in the second distance, with 347 units. For years, Coahuila has been a national power in this discipline, proof of this is that it even has athletes in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
In addition to archery, Coahuila is currently participating in more disciplines in these games, formerly the “National Olympiad.”
