The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam has just sent a document to Vietnamese airlines regarding transportation plans during the National Day holiday on September 2.
Accordingly, the Authority requires airlines to report on their fleet operation plans; flight increase plans and ticket sales, reservations, and seat supply on flights to/from domestic tourist destinations during the National Day holiday (from August 30 to September 3).

On that basis, the airlines report to the Department difficulties, problems and recommendations related to air transport activities.
To better serve the needs of the people and promote tourism development, the Civil Aviation Authority requires airlines to proactively coordinate with travel agencies to develop plans to exploit key tourism localities and countries. Thereby, the aviation industry supports and promotes domestic and international tourism activities.
Airlines also need to coordinate with ground service companies to develop plans to serve flights, especially night flights. Ground service companies need to create conditions for airlines to maintain maximum rates and frequencies, ensuring flight safety.
According to the announcement of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees of administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations, and socio-political organizations will have a holiday for National Day 2024 from Saturday (August 31) to Tuesday (September 3).
This holiday includes 2 National Day holidays and 2 weekend days. Thus, civil servants and public employees of administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations, and socio-political organizations will have a maximum of 4 days off.
