Moroccan cinemas are preparing to host the premiere of the family comedy film “Qalb 6/9”, directed by Mohamed Ali Al-Aouini, produced by Idriss Chahtan, through his company SW MEDIA, and written by Jawad Krouti.
The film, which will be shown on July 24 in all Moroccan cinemas, includes a group of the brightest art stars, and promises to provide an unforgettable cinematic experience with its deep, comedic and touching story.
According to the trailer, “Qalb 6/9” tells the story of Abbas, a powerful and influential businessman with several projects ranging from real estate to audiovisual production. It reveals his authoritarian side and the tensions that surround his relationships with his employees, family members and business partners. The man embodies a respectable character in a comedic role, but is often detached from the emotional needs of those around him, adding layers of complexity and depth to his character in a sarcastic way.
The film stars a group of prominent actors, including Mohamed El Jem, Nezha Regragui, Abdelilah Ajil, Abdel Rahim El Menyari, Mohamed Attir, Youssef El Zaari, Safaa Habirko, Fati Jamali, Issam Belalioui; in addition to the Arab and international star Saad Lamjarred.
Speaking about the film, producer Idriss Chahtan said: “Through the screening of ‘Qalb 6/9’, we aim to present a work that resonates deeply with the audience, highlighting the talents of Moroccan cinema.” He added: “It is an ambitious project that combines comedy, personal drama and social reflections. I am excited about the audience’s reaction after watching the film.”
For his part, director Mohamed Ali Laouini expressed his happiness to participate in this work, stressing that “working on the film ‘Qalb 6/9’ was a wonderful experience,” and he continued: “We confronted universal themes such as power, relationships, and social inequalities through an emotional and attractive story in a comedic way,” adding: “Filming was a challenge, but I am proud of the final result.”
