Christian Nodal is consecrated in his first National Auditorium; will give three more dates

MEXICO CITY (apro).- In his first performance at the National Auditorium, one of the most important venues in Latin America, Christian Nodal delivered a concert with two hours of hits: “You don’t know how many times I dreamed about you, I was dying to perform here ”, he said before 10 thousand attendees. There are three more dates left this June 8, 9 and 11.

The outfits with hats were the constant in the Auditorium. The venue was completely filled around 9:00 p.m. and Nodal himself was in charge of giving the third call from behind the scenes. Without making the wait long, dressed in a hat, leather vest, white t-shirt, cowboy-style jeans, boots, and a long chain with a diamond crucifix (which sparkled in the right light), the artist lit up the venue with his “Pal’ Cora Tour”, without holding anything back and with the first two hits that gave her recognition: “Adiós amor” and “No te condón mal”.

Backed by 22 musicians and three backup singers, the artist who raised the listening of regional Mexican among young people almost a decade ago, gave a show that can be divided into three acts: The first hits, a medley-tribute to some of his artists and favorite songs, and regarding their most recent albums “Forajido” (2022) and “Pal’ Cora” (2024).

This is how they also heard “Ayayay”, “Pa’ vivirme de ella”, “Botella after bottle” (original in collaboration with Gera Mx), “La half”, “Te failedé”, “For the rest of your life” (original in collaboration with Tini), “Se me olvó”, “Tell me how you want” (original duet with Angela Aguilar) and after that came his first talk with the public:

“This is my first National Auditorium, and Mexico City always makes it special, I have come before as a guest and I never wanted to leave, I always wanted to continue singing more, I already wanted to do my own show so it will be a long night, tonight it’s ‘pal’ cora’… and farts who knows. I love them!”.

He then sang the second part of the show with complete covers adapted to the regional and mariachi: “Devuélveme a mi chica” by Hombres G, “ Así fue” by Juan Gabriel, “Brillas” by León Larregui (this one with adaptation to banda), “Vete ya” by Valentín Elizalde, “Como la flor” by Selena, and his song “Un cumbión dododo”.

From the first songs of the night the singer stopped between songs to drink tequila, so, for the last third of the evening, perhaps because of the advanced stage of the act, because of the excitement of the public who never lowered their spirits, or a little because the effects of tequila – he invited his musicians straight from the bottle with the pretext of “you because you can already hear the trumpet down… and you because you’re already out of tune on the accordion.”

Then followed the songs “A drunk is born here” and “I live in 6”, “Sinvergüenza”, “If you are missing someone”, “I’m still after you here”, “Who are you?”, “Stay”, then “El rey” by José Alfredo Jiménez, “Aca entre nos” by Martín Urieta, and “Mujeres divinas” made famous by Vicente Fernández were heard.

During this last part, Nodal’s father, Jaime González, could be seen on one side of the stage, he pushed aside a backstage curtain, and smiling at all times, he discreetly peeked out on a couple of occasions to see the view of the National Auditorium. full.

Towards the end of the show Nodal addressed the audience again: “It is truly incredible how precious life is, you don’t know how many times I dreamed about you, about performing here, I was dying to be with you in the National Auditorium.

“I don’t know what fate has in store for the next three nights, but I will never forget this. Mexico, I love you a lot!, and the truth is that it’s better to sing, which is what we know how to do best. I love them very much”.

The hit “Probably” (which he originally performed as a duet with David Bisbal) immediately followed, in which colored papers were thrown as a farewell. After the first time with an audience of his most recent release “Kbron y medio”, to continue with “Limón con sal”, “Ya no somos, ni seremos”, “De los kisses que te di”, and once again his success initial “Goodbye love”, closing after 11 at night.

Nodal showed signs of being a ‘showman’ and pampering the public, as he distributed a dozen hats throughout the night among the first rows, some autographed; If there was one thing he could complain about it would be the absence of special guests, that is, perhaps an artist with whom he has collaborated on songs. The singer-songwriter has three more dates left at the National Auditorium this June 8, 9 and 11.
