CHP Deputy Chairman Yankı Bağcıoğlu Visited Veterans

(ANKARA) – CHP Deputy Chairman Yankı Bağcıoğlu visited veteran soldiers receiving treatment at the Ministry of Health Veterans Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Education and Research Hospital. Stating that the fact that the report regarding the orthotics and prosthetics of veterans is given only at the Rehabilitation Center in Ankara creates grievances, Bağcıoğlu said, “As a solution to this problem, the establishment of units authorized to give reports and centers that will produce prosthetics in education and research hospitals in appropriate provinces to be determined in different regions is prominent.”

CHP Deputy Chairman for the Ministry of National Defense Yankı Bağcıoğlu made a statement regarding his visit to veterans receiving treatment at the Veterans Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital. Bağcıoğlu said the following.

“The primary and important problem that our veterans voiced was that the report on orthotics and prosthetics was given only at the Rehabilitation Center in Ankara and the prosthetics were produced only at this center.

For this purpose; it is a very tiring and costly process for our veterans to come to Ankara from the provinces they are in. At the same time, veterans who are disabled and receiving treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder are victimized even more.

As a solution to this problem, the establishment of units authorized to give reports and centers that will produce prostheses in training and research hospitals in appropriate provinces to be determined in different regions is prominent.”
