It was revealed that water was supplied through pipes to the 312-meter Yuntai Waterfalls, known as China’s “Continuous Waterfall” and on the UNESCO Global Geopark list. A hiker revealed the truth with the images he shared on his social media account.

In a video that spread rapidly on social media, it was seen that there was a large water pipe at the top of Yuntai Mountain Waterfall, which is introduced as China’s highest uninterrupted waterfall. The audience was surprised by this situation and realized that they had been deceived until now.

In a statement on their social media account, Mount Geopark officials apologized for the pipe and said that it was difficult for the waterfall to always remain the same beauty seasonally, and that is why they resorted to such a method during dry seasons.

Authorities stated that the water used in the pipe was spring water and did not harm the waterfall. However, Chinese social media users reacted to this situation and commented, “This is a disrespectful behavior to the natural order and tourists.”

There are examples of artificial measures being taken in tourist areas in China to protect natural beauties and provide a better experience for visitors.
