President Ilham Aliyev approved the changes to the Customs Code.
Publika.azaccording to the news, according to the change, based on the decisions of the courts on the cases of crimes detected by the customs authorities in the field of customs work and administrative errors against the customs regulations, funds obtained from the sale of goods and vehicles transferred to the state ownership, fines and customs payments stipulated in the articles of the Customs Code 93 percent will be transferred to the account of the relevant executive authority.
With the amendment, those funds will be used to strengthen the social protection of the employees of the relevant executive power body, transfer to the state budget to provide a supplement to the monthly salaries of employees with special ranks and civil servants of the relevant executive power body (SGK is intended – ed.), customs authorities, institutions subordinate to the relevant executive power body will be spent on strengthening the material-technical and social base, as well as increasing the scientific and technical potential in the field of customs work, conducting scientific research works, including research on the application of customs regulation tools, and studying new methods and methods accepted in international practice.
In addition, 7 percent of the funds will be transferred to the state budget.
At the same time, the distribution of funds and the order of their use are determined by the relevant executive authority.
