Midland Bank Plc completed 11 years of its commercial operations as the 4th generation private commercial bank in the country on 20 June.
On this occasion, prayers were organized in the boardroom of the bank’s head office. Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank. Ahsan-Uz Zaman was present as the chief guest. The senior management team and department heads of the bank were present on the occasion.

Md. Ahsan-Uz Zaman said, “We are always at the forefront of service and product innovation. Today we are very pleased to officially launch a new product ‘MDB Secured Credit Card’ to our customers. From now our customers can accept Digital Secured Credit Card against its DPS/FDR anytime anywhere through Midland Bank mobile app (Midland Online).
He further said that Midland Bank has always been a pioneer in implementing technology based solutions. The bank offers multiple customized solutions to meet the diverse banking needs of its valued customers. ‘Secured Credit Card’ is another one of the digitized additions under the bank’s technological advancement, which does not require the customer to visit a branch and also requires no paperwork.
Besides, on the occasion of the 11th anniversary, all branches, sub-branches and agents of the bank celebrated the day with their customers and well-wishers at the banking center on June 20.
