Man United midfielder Casemiro wants to join Bayern Munich, and negotiations have secretly taken place, before the Red Devils’ important clash with the German giants in the Champions League arena.
According to information from Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicolas, Casemirohas “great aspirations” to join Bayern Munich. The 31-year-old signed a four-year contract when he moved from Real Madrid to Man United in August 2022 for 70 million euros.
Casemiro had an impressive debut season at Old Trafford, scoring seven goals and six assists in 51 matches across all competitions. However, he is having difficulty this season with unstable performance and difficulties due to injury. Currently, Casemiro is out of action due to thigh muscle pain, missing Man United’s last 11 matches.
The future of the Brazilian midfielder is becoming a subject of speculation as coach Erik ten Hag plans to make many changes to his squad in the upcoming transfer periods. The former Real Madrid star was put on the market by the Dutch coach after just one year of joining the Red Devils, along with Sancho and Varane.
